Connect to Gmail securely!

Did you know you can connect to your Google email account securely? This ability is offered only by Google email service, Yahoo mail doesn’t offer this feature at least for the free email version, I don’t know if the premium version offers the ability to connect securely.

Steps to change your Gmail access:

Log-in to you Google account and click on “Settings

Scroll down to the bottom of the setting page and in “Browser Connection” select “Always use https” and click “Save Changes” and you are done!

Once you had saved the changes log off and log in again, now you should the a https:// before google web address.

Send & Archive [Google new feature]

If your gmail account is almost full I have good news for you, Google has created a program to archive all the emails once you click send, this program will archive and make available gmail disk space again.

To add this program to Google email is easy just go to your gmail account Settings > Labs > Scroll down until you find [Send & Archive] click enable and save.

That’s all it takes. Enjoy!

Note: After the installation is completed make sure to click on the “Register” link on the left pane, go to your email and look for the registration code PC Tool sent you copy/paste the name and reg keys and click “register” not “continue” I did that mistake and couldn’t registered the software I had to go the help section to find out why the software was not getting registered.

Is Google and Microsoft in war?

googlegeneric 300x213 Is Google and Microsoft in war?Apparently Microsoft live email users are complaining because Google is sending there emails to the spam folder, so why is this happening? Some users say Google is getting so secured that is marking legitimate spam like @msn.com, @hotmail.com, and @live.com addresses like spam. Now my question is, is this a war from Google to Microsoft? In my opinion I don’t think Google is blocking msn, hotmail, or live.com addresses on purpose maybe they are to secured. It’s not the first time this happens it also happens to me how many times I had checked my Gmail

Get your Google email via Microsoft Outlook

Tired of going the Google mail homepage to check your messages? Well I have good news for you, did you know you can configure Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook to download your Gmail messages? Since I been using Google email service I had always use Microsoft Outlook as my default client to download my Gmail messages.
