The latest security update is:
- MS09-017-addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Office (KB 967340)
This is not actually an operating system update it’s actually an update for Microsoft Office, so if you have Office installed and I bet you have go ahead and install this update.
To update all you have to do is the following:
- Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
- Depending on which Control Panel view you use, Classic or Category, do one of the following:
- Click System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
- Click Performance and Maintenance, click System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
- Click the option that you want. Make sure Automatic Updates is not turned off.
That’s it you are done.
