Written by Joel on January 7, 2009

One of the good things Windows Vista offers is the ability to restore a deleted file from a Shadow copy stored with in the operating system. But this feature is only available to Windows Vista Business and Ultimate,  the other versions can store a shadow copy but it can not restore from the copy.

And for that reason “Shadow Explorer” was designed, this particular software is for Windows Vista  Home and Home Premium which are the ones that doesn’t have access to these copies.
