Not knowing computers might be a BIG disadvantage to any computer user, not knowing the real cause of the computer can get you to pay a lot of money to the computer repair shop. I found two interesting videos on how a computer repair shop falsely misdiagnosed the computer problem and removed an expensive hardware to put cheap one.

If your computer gets damaged be very careful to not get RIP-OFF, you will know this when you here a BIG price for the job. Also if you see that the technician is saying your computer has a lot of hardware damages you can suspect that this might be a complete lie.

Remember ask the possible cause of the problem, if the technician knows for real he or she will tell you why the computer is faulty.
