Schedule your appointments with Google Calendar

Did you know Google has a really good calendar? If not I will explain it to you then, this calendar is part of all the free services Google offers in conjunction with the others freebies like Gmail, Documents, Photos, Reader, etc…. with this calendar you can create events in a flash.

To create an event click on “Create event” this link is on your left hand, once you had clicked on the event you will see the following image:

Enter the event name, date, repeat (yes or no) and under options you will see “Reminder, Show me as busy, and Privacy“. Make sure to configure these options so you can have a better user experience.

Once you had configured the options click on save, this event will remain in effect until the day of the event, if for some reason you want to cancel the event go to Gmail and select Calendar or you can go to Google Calendar  to cancel the event. This tool is very useful and it can be manage from anywhere on the web.

Another useful calendar is “Excel Calendar” which is a Microsoft Excel calendar that runs with Excel, it is very cool but not better than Google Calendar. It’s your choice to test them both, for more information Click here
