Having computer problems? I know how tough it is to work with a computer giving errors and errors, most common errors are “corrupted registry errors” and once the registry gets damage the best thing to do is to reinstall Windows again.
But here is another alternative option before attempting to reinstall Windows, “System Restore“. This feature is included in Windows ME, XP, and Vista all editions, the purpose of this feature is to recover Windows Operating System to a previous state. Let say you made some changes to the operating system but after that the computer is acting weird you can undue that by using “System Restore” after selecting the date you want to recover your computer will work normally as before making the changes.
Windows Vista – To access this feature click on Start and type in the search box “System Restore” once the feature shows click on it and follow the instructions. Here is an image of Vista System Restore

Windows XP – To access this feature click on Start, all programs, accessories, system tools and look for “System Restore” click on it and follow the instructions. Here an image of XP System Restore
